Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Brookeland, TX, is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment and facilities. The reporting office will be in Brookeland, Texas.

Responsibilities include inspecting/maintaining pipelines and facilities, performing damage prevention, coordinating with landowners and agencies, and following OSHA/DOT/EPA procedures. On-call and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Demonstrated self-starter with good judgment and independence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate pipelines and related facilities safely and efficiently.
• Perform damage prevention activities including patrols, locating pipelines, and marking crossings.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and complete required documentation (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with landowners, public agencies, utilities, and other operators.
• Participate in safety programs and follow company procedures.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis and adhere to LOTO procedures.
