Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and four years of professional experience, or ABET-accredited degree with eight years, or non-ABET degree with twelve years.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain pipeline systems including material selection, procedures, codes compliance and progress inspection.
  • Evaluate leakage survey effectiveness.
  • Operate pipeline system including regulation, measurement, curtailment and gas loss/gain.
  • Comply with federal, state and local rules and regulations.
  • Design system mains, regulator and meter settings and corrosion protection.
  • Provide input for development and evaluation of operating standards.
  • Conduct product evaluation and present recommendations to standards committee.
  • Review paperwork for accuracy and adherence to design specs.
  • Provide engineering specs, surveys and directions for project completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Assist coordination between Engineering and Operations to ensure timely project completion.
  • Provide specialized reports and studies as required.
  • Determine and develop approaches to solutions.
