Job summary

Atmos Energy in Plano, TX seeks an engineering professional to support construction and maintenance of pipeline systems under close supervision. You will assist in design, monitoring and analysis of pipeline networks and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers about technical concepts.
• Requires the ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical methods.
• Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create complex documents, reports and graphics.

Responsibilities

• Construction of new and maintenance of existing pipeline systems, selecting materials and inspecting work in progress.
• Evaluation of leakage survey effectiveness.
• Assisting in the design, monitoring and analysis of pipeline systems including regulation and meter settings.
• Compliance with Federal, state and local rules and regulations.
