Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with operating and maintaining liquid pipeline systems, terminals and marine facilities; knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.
• Effective leadership / supervisory experience or ability to learn supervisory skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates and manages direct reports including Right of Way Technicians, Maintenance Technicians and contractors to safely operate and maintain pipeline, right of way, terminal and marine facilities.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and company operating requirements; coordinates with regulatory agencies, other departments, landowners, the public and emergency response agencies.
• Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Team and coordinates emergency response activities.
• Responsible for Emergency Response and line equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Prepares and maintains reports, records and documents on right of way, maintenance, safety, regulatory compliance and personnel issues.
• Maintains annual contact with right of way property owners and may negotiate on issues along the right of way.
• Initiates and completes work projects; assists in updating required plans; relieves Terminal Superintendent during absence.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
