Job summary

Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES) seeks a Project Engineer to support execution of pipeline construction projects. You will assist with planning, coordination, scheduling, and field operations, gaining hands-on exposure across project delivery.

This role emphasizes collaboration with field crews and project managers, cost tracking, and quality control, with travel required for long-term onsite projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management or engineering preferred or relevant industry experience.
• Internship or full-time experience in a construction field-based role.
• Experience with job cost tracking software, estimating software, Trimble Business Center and Primavera (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Travel (ability to commit to long-term onsite projects).

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordination and field operations on pipeline construction projects.
• Support scheduling, cost tracking, quality control, and collaboration with field crews and project managers.
• Gain practical exposure to how large-scale projects are built safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
