Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Project Engineer I to join our Project Execution Team on natural gas pipeline integrity, retrofits, and hydrotest projects. You will support design, planning, and client coordination to deliver safe, efficient energy infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in engineering and 1–3+ years in gas utilities or processing design, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or similar field is required.
• 1-3+ years experience in gas utilities and/or gas processing design engineering.
• Technical knowledge in pipeline engineering and design, and understanding of applicable regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support in design, evaluate and implement pipeline engineering projects to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders to identify needs and support execution.
• Prepare pipeline design deliverables including diagrams, plans, specs and BOQs.
• Perform QA/QC on all deliverables and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Lead and collaborate with teams to execute projects and develop training materials.
