Job summary

Plains All American Pipeline seeks Pipeline Operators for pump stations and crude oil storage facilities in Pecos, TX. You will monitor equipment, perform routine operations, and ensure safe, compliant shipping of crude oil while coordinating with maintenance crews outdoors. Ideal candidates will read technical manuals, perform basic math, and handle PC tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pipeline knowledge and hands-on experience are essential.
• Ability to manage pump stations, pipelines and lease crude oil shipping responsibilities.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical operational manuals.
• Basic math and computer/PC skills are needed.
• Valid US driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Compliance with drug and alcohol policy and pre-employment screening.
• Cleared criminal history and satisfactory references.
• Willingness to travel, work overtime and participate in on-call rotation.
• Must possess or obtain operator qualifications and complete Haz-Mat training and meet DOT requirements.
