Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a Pipeline Operator, Logistics to join our Delaware City pipeline team. The role ensures safe receipt and shipment of petroleum products, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports daily operations, maintenance, and environmental activities across the pipeline system.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft products, and experience with SCADA/industrial control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate Company vehicles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products; experience with Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, and GE Cimplicity/Proficy preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to scheduled and after-hours operational and emergency calls on a 24/7 basis.
• Utilize the SCADA system to monitor for leaks and ensure equipment operates within design parameters.
• Prepare and distribute daily shipping reports, pipeline balance reports, and flow meter reports.
• Monitor ROW construction activity and mark out pipeline for safe work.
• Coordinate with Central Control Operations before maintenance activities.
• Sample and analyze product, install/remove corrosion coupons per procedures.
• Maintain pipeline equipment and safety/environmental systems in good order.
• Conduct safety watches with outside contractors and manage projects as needed.
• Ensure company vehicles and equipment are clean and ready for service.
