Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Pipeline Technician to perform repair and maintenance of pipelines, equipment, and facilities involved in daily gas and liquid operations. You will work across compressor and pump stations, interpreting drawings and OEM manuals, while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires adapting to on-call duties, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving record and potential USDOT certification.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate compressor station or pump station equipment, plant facilities and pipeline facilities to meet production and throughput goals in a safe, compliant manner.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work with employees and contractors to ensure safe, timely, and effective completion.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule work and outages, order materials, maintain inventory, and coordinate resources.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, OEM manuals, and other technical resources for assigned work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely in hazardous and non-hazardous environments.
• Maintain equipment records, logs, and documentation as required by procedures and agencies.
• Provide training and leadership to develop and maintain effective work crews.
