Job Summary

Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the aerospace industry? PDS Tech Commercial seeks a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Wichita, KS. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside industry experts in engineering and manufacturing, focusing on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for aerospace products, directly supporting innovative aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams to develop manufacturing and tooling plans for aerospace programs.
  2. Identify, recommend, and implement advanced manufacturing technologies to improve production processes.
  3. Apply process engineering principles to ensure smooth integration of systems and structures in production.
  4. Develop and guide requirements for assembly, tooling simulations, and manufacturing configurations.
  5. Perform trade and cost studies and contribute to integrated product and process teams for operational excellence.
  6. Utilize expertise in areas such as composites, electrical/electronics, machining, sheet metal, and systems/structures.
Required Qualifications
  1. 5-8 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Candidates with a Master’s degree (3-6 years of experience) or PhD (0-3 years of experience) are encouraged to apply.
  3. Strong foundation in process engineering, manufacturing technologies, and aerospace standards.
  4. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies.
  2. Expertise in areas like composites, electrical/electronics, machining, or sheet metal processes.
