Ameritrace in East, TX is hiring a full-time Pipeline Locator. This entry-level role involves traveling to outdoor sites to locate and mark underground utility lines using EM locators and other tools, helping the excavation team stay safe and avoid damage.

YOUR DAY AS A PIPELINE LOCATOR

In this entry-level position, you'll be traveling to various outdoor properties (ROW's, Fields, Facility pads, Compressor stations, etc.) and using special equipment to detect and mark underground utility lines. You'll walk around the space and use EM locators and other tools to identify the locations of pipes and cables. Once you've done this, you'll accurately mark spots to help the excavation team avoid the underground lines. Attention to detail and accuracy are vital as you complete job reports, follow safety and color codes, and help other workers stay safe on the job!

REQUIREMENTS

We'll train you in everything you need to know for this entry-level position! You just need to have the right attitude, a solid work ethic, and the following qualifications:

• 18+ years old
