About the Role

Our client seeks a knowledgeable Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join their team, primarily based in Paarl . This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the company's pipeline network through proactive integrity management strategies. You will be responsible for assessing pipeline condition, managing inspection programs, and implementing mitigation measures against corrosion and other threats. This position offers the chance to apply advanced engineering principles to maintain critical infrastructure and ensure compliance with stringent regulatory standards in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive pipeline integrity management plans.
• Plan and oversee inline inspection (ILI) campaigns and direct assessment programs.
• Analyze ILI data and other integrity assessment results to identify potential risks and degradation.
• Recommend appropriate repair strategies and preventative maintenance actions for pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with relevant national and international pipeline safety regulations.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and regulatory affairs teams to address integrity issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pipeline engineering or integrity management.
