Job summary

Miller Pipeline is seeking a qualified foreman to oversee repair, maintenance, construction, installation and reconditioning of natural gas distribution pipelines. You will guide the crew, plan daily activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across projects in the field.

Key responsibilities include organizing work, solving problems, maintaining equipment, and effective communication with support staff and customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Current driver's license with good driving record.
Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
Professional or personal use of hand tools.
Interact effectively and professionally with the public, customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Guide the crew towards goal achievement.
Plan, organize and delegate the daily work activities among crew members.
Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment is assigned to, and completed by, the crew.
Communicate with support staff regarding time worked, safety and productivity measures, accidents and injuries, and property or vehicle damage.
Complete daily data entry.
Handle minor customer complaints and inquiries; escalate issues as needed.
Ensure overall quality of work meets or exceeds standards.
