HF Sinclair is seeking a Pipeline Controller In Training in Artesia, NM to learn how to monitor and control product flow through our pipeline network. The role emphasizes safety and efficient transportation under a structured training program.

You will work rotating 12-hour shifts, support experienced controllers, respond to alarms, and document operations while completing required certifications and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must complete all required certifications, tests, and training to become a qualified pipeline controller under supervision.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and operate a computer.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively with others in a team.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn to monitor and control pipeline flow using a computerized control system.
• Assist in responding to alarms and emergencies following established protocols.
• Collaborate with senior controllers and supervisors to gain hands-on knowledge.
• Document shift reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports with accuracy.
• Stay current with safety, regulatory requirements, and new technologies in pipeline operations.
• Participate in company training programs and complete Operator Qualification reviews.
