Job summary

AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC) in Rapid City, SD, seeks a Construction Services Representative to perform construction observation and project administration on a regional large-scale pipeline project. You will work with the project team to ensure owner-Engineer communication and contract compliance.

The role requires a degree in construction or related field, 5+ years of construction experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel and work

Qualifications

• Degree in construction, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction experience or engineering-based construction observation and administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work remotely for extended periods of time.
• Pre-employment checks may be required (background, drug screen, driving record).
• Experience on pipeline, water, wastewater, or rural water projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and administration on AE2S projects.
• Ensure communication between Owner and Engineer to update progress and quality.
• Coordinate with Contractors to ensure document requirements, process, schedule and contractual obligations are understood.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Track project budgets and assist with change orders with the Project Manager.
• Maintain files, reports, and records for documentation purposes.
