Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking a Pipelayer for local Florida operations to assemble, install, and maintain storm sewers, drains, and water mains.

The role involves preparing subgrade, setting laser-grade pipes, and ensuring correct depth, grade, and alignment with no leaks. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience and be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe laying and installation preferred.
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• MVR checks and Florida driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, connect, and construct pipe systems for storm sewers, drains, and water mains.
• Prepare subgrade for pipe placement and set laser grade.
• Set up and operate laser to ensure proper grade and fall of pipe.
• Handle pipe during lowering and adjust as needed to fit routes.
• Ensure proper depth, alignment, and leak-free installation.
• Adhere to safety requirements and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
