Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Pipelayer for our local Florida operations in Palm Coast.

The role involves assembling, connecting and constructing pipe systems for storm and sanitary sewers, drains, and water mains, and preparing subgrades for laying pipe. You will set up and operate lasers to grade and fall, manage pipe in trenches, and ensure correct depth and leak-free joints while upholding safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pipe laying experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must meet MVR requirements and have a Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a laser to lay pipe to a specified grade and fall
• Handle pipe when lowered from overhead into trench and make pipe adjustments

• Sets laser at the proper grade for storm, sewer, drains, and water mains
• Configure pipe routes
• Ensure the pipe is installed at the proper grade and in the proper depth and fitted and aligned properly with no leaks
• Complies with all safety requirements and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Complies with all safety requirements and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-year experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check
