Job description

Location: Apple Grove, WV

Pay Rate: Up to $33/Hour + $100/day Per Diem

Hours: 60 Hours/Week

The Systems Group is seeking an energetic Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in reading blueprints, laying out pipe of various sizes, and fitting components such as Tees, 90s, 45s, and offsets according to print specifications while calculating proper takeouts. Pipefitter Job Responsibilities:

  1. Select the appropriate type and size of pipe, supports, hangers, and related materials based on job specifications.
  2. Inspect the worksite for obstructions.
  3. Plan installation sequences to avoid conflicts with obstructions and other workers.
  4. Cut pipes using various tools such as reciprocating saws, pipe cutters, hammers, chisels, cutting torches, or pipe cutting machines.
  5. Thread pipes using threading machines.
  6. Bend pipes by hand or with bending tools and machines.
  7. Mount pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings.
  8. Assemble and install metal or non-metal pipes and fittings.
  9. Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand and power tools.
  10. Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  11. Observe and adhere to all safety, project, and company policies and procedures.
  12. Perform additional duties as required.
