AdvanSix is seeking a skilled Journeyman pipefitter/welder to interpret drawings, fabricate and weld piping systems, and perform repairs in shop and field environments. The role requires welding in multiple positions and thorough knowledge of safety regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and a state-certified journeyman license or equivalent apprenticeship, with about 5 years of industrial experience in pipefitting or welding.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Journeyman-level pipefitter/welder or completion of state-certified apprenticeship.
• 5 years industrial experience in pipefitting and/or welding.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to comply with OSHA procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math computations and to communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret drawings and recreate piping details in shop and field.
• Bolt, clamp and weld metal components of piping systems, plates, pipes, tubes or structural shapes.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Remove, fabricate and weld in fixed equipment repair panels.
• Perform welding repairs to boiler and exchanger tubes and tube sheets.
• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per job specifications.
• Plan layouts and apply welding techniques based on geometry and material properties.
