AdvanSix is seeking a skilled pipefitter/welder to interpret technical drawings and recreate piping details in shop and field settings. You will bolt, clamp and weld metal components using arc welding equipment, with the possibility of welding in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.

The role requires a Journeyman-level pipefitter/welder or equivalent apprenticeship and about 5 years in industrial environments, with strong reading of drawings and attention to safety and quality.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman pipefitter/welder license or completion of state-certified apprenticeship.
• 5 years industrial experience.
• 5 yrs Experience in pipefitting and/or welding.

Responsabilidades

• Interpreting technically drawings and recreating piping details in shop and field.
• Bolting, clamping and welding metal components using arc welding equipment.
• Welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Removing, fabricating and welding in fixed equipment repair panels.
• Welding repairs to boiler and exchanger tubes and tube sheets.
• Selecting pipe types and related materials per job specs.
• Planning guying layouts, assembly and welding with knowledge of metal properties.
