Pipefitter/Welder

Location: Tallahassee, FL (or specify exact location)

Position: Full-Time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (DOE)

We’re currently hiring experienced Pipefitters/Welders to join a professional, fast-paced team. This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking to grow in a stable environment with opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, weld, and fit mechanical piping systems including chillers, pumps, boilers, and air handlers
• Work with carbon steel, copper, iron, and other piping materials (up to 24” in diameter)
• Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipe using industry-standard tools and techniques
• Layout and install HVAC system components according to plans/blueprints
• Install valves, hangers, flanges, and supports for HVAC piping systems
• Secure pipe to structures using clamps, brackets, and power/hand tools
• Assist in hoisting and rigging pipe and equipment
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of pipefitting and/or welding experience
• Must own basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation required
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience working with HVAC piping systems
• Positive, teachable attitude and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated, punctual, and reliable
• Ability to work overtime when needed
