Job summary

A reputable MEP contractor in Richmond is seeking experienced Fitters to join their team. The role involves welding and installing piping systems for various applications, including steam and industrial processing. Ideal candidates should have experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, along with the ability to read technical specs. Qualifications

• Proven experience with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Must be able to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and welding materials.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and weld various piping systems.
• Test piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure and observing gauges.
• Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to specifications.

Ability to obtain AWS 6G certification
