Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a skilled pipefitter to measure, layout, assemble, install and maintain piping systems using threading, brazing, soldering or welding. This role also involves preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of related experience, and a valid REAL ID or passport. Forklift/MHE license is required and you should be a team player with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• 3 year Pipefitter/Plumber preferred; Apprenticeship background accepted.
• Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license or current Passport.
• Forklift and MHE license required.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Measure, layout, assemble, install and maintain piping systems by threading, brazing, soldering or welding.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Operate cutting tools such as saws, pipe cutter, cutting torch and other cutting machinery.
• Thread pipe by fixed or portable threading machines.
• Operate tools and equipment as required.
