Your role

Your mission is to have a highly trained eye to support our product builds and repairs. You will support Atlas Copco Rental's growth as a leader in oil-free air and steam rental in North America.

As a Pipefitter/Pipethreader/Fabricator, you will report to the Production Supervisor and your responsibilities include:

1. Checking measurements and dimensions of each piece using rulers, tapes, or squares.
2. Placing product components in their proper positions according to blueprints, using tools like hammers, pry bars, jacks, wedges.
3. Marking cut spots and manipulating materials through cutting, hammering, bending, or grinding.
4. Identifying and correcting defects with appropriate rework techniques.
5. Maintaining accurate records of activities, materials, equipment settings, and inspection results.
6. Reviewing blueprints and specifications before and during work to ensure accuracy.
7. Creating templates for repetitive tasks to maintain quality standards.

Required Qualifications

1. HS diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience.
2. 3-5 years of pipefitting and pipe-threading experience.
3. Ability to interpret blueprints and work specifications.
4. Physical strength to lift at least 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Welding certification, MIG experience.
2. Understanding of construction and industrial processes.
3. Excellent color vision and hand dexterity.
