Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years verifiable experience with piping systems in industrial construction/installation.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints, diagrams, grades, and instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe type and size per job specifications.
• Inspect sites for obstructions and ensure safe openings.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid conflicts on site.
• Cut pipe using saws, torches, or pipe machines.
• Assemble and install metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings.
• Test, flush, and chlorinate piping systems.
• May weld holding fixtures to steel members.
• Assist installation of industrial process equipment.
