The position involves prefabrication and installation of a new production line at a Rand-Whitney paper mill, with overtime as the project progresses. Start date is August 31, 2026, for 2–3 months, at $40.00 per hour plus a $130 per diem, paid 7 days per week when scheduled.

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Journeyman Industrial Pipefitters for an industrial project in Montville, Connecticut.

Job Details

• Location: Montville, Connecticut
• Start Date: Monday, August 31, 2026
• Duration: 2–3 months
• Pay: $40.00 per hour
• Per Diem: $130 per day, paid 7 days per week as long as all scheduled hours are worked
• Schedule: First four weeks will be 5/10s, with the schedule increasing to 7/12s when the October shutdown begins

Job Duties

• Prefabricate and install industrial piping for a new production line
• Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe according to project specifications
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping plans
• Perform pipe fabrication and installation with minimal supervision
• Assist with the eventual tie-in of the new production line to the existing production system
• Follow all project safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain a professional attitude and conduct throughout the project

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of industrial pipefitting experience
• Strong industrial/manufacturing experience required
• Must be proficient in reading isometric drawings and blueprints
• Must have all required hand tools in a lockable gang box; tool bags are not permitted
• Must provide and wear required PPE at all times
• Must pass all required pre-employment qualifications and drug screening
• Must complete required online safety training
• Must be dependable and able to commit to the project schedule, including the increased hours during the October shutdown
