Gulf Island is seeking Offshore Combo Fitters to join our Broussard team. You will fabricate and install steel structures and piping offshore in the Gulf of America, following engineering drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidates are experienced fitters with strong blueprint reading skills and the ability to work in challenging outdoor environments. This is a great opportunity for those who thrive in offshore construction and hands-on, physical work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a fitter.
• Ability to pass a written and practical pipe fitter or structural test.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• TWIC card.
• High school diploma or GED (desirable).
• Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 50-75 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
