Thorpe Specialty Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial environments, supporting refractory, corrosion control, rubber lining, and scaffolding projects.
You will read blueprints and isometrics, cut and fit pipe, weld, test pressure and leaks, and coordinate with other trades while following safety policies. This role requires physical stamina and willingness to work overtime and variable shifts.

The Pipefitter is responsible for the layout, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in industrial environments, supporting projects related to refractory, corrosion control, rubber lining, and scaffolding services. This role requires a high degree of skill in interpreting piping drawings and specifications, cutting and fitting pipe, and ensuring systems are installed to meet industry and project standards for safety and quality.

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
