Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Fabrication Associate/Pipefitter for our client in West Chester, OH. This onsite role offers a 1st shift, paid overtime, and a 6-month assignment with potential conversion to full-time.

You will work on pipe fabrication, saws, grooving and threading equipment, gaining hands-on experience in life-safety systems support. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working with pipe, sheet metal, and fabrication materials.
• Experience operating saws or fabrication equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grooving machines, threading machines.
• Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe according to specifications.
• Read and accurately use tape measures and basic measurement tools.
• Move, organize, and stage pipe and materials throughout the shop and yard.
• Assemble pipe orders for shipment in various configurations.
• Perform general labor, assembly, and material handling tasks.
• Support machine setup and basic equipment maintenance activities.
• Assist with quality checks to ensure product accuracy.
