We are currently seeking a Pipefitter Leader to join our team.

Summary

Responsible for overseeing jobs from start to finish, including assembly and installation of pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for hydraulic, pneumatic, lube, and coolant systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consult with department employees on pipe fitting issues.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe.
• Assemble and install various metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.
• Connect pipes using threaded, soldered, and brazed methods.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
• Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machinery and equipment.
• Pressure test systems and monitor for leaks.
• Weld pipe supports to structural steel members.
• Observe production machines to detect malfunctions.
