Job summary

Billerud NA is hiring a Pipefitter Journeyman in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The role focuses on training apprentices and maintaining complex piping systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, hydronic, steam, and condensate systems.

You will weld, cut, and assemble piping components while adhering to safety standards. Applicants should have completed an indentured pipefitter apprenticeship, be able to lift 50–100 lbs, and possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an Indentured Pipefitter Apprenticeship Program or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs regularly.
• Must read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Trains apprentices as required.
• Repairs, maintains, and installs complex piping systems and related equipment.
• Locates, determines, and repairs malfunctions of hydraulic, pneumatic and hydronic systems.
• Installs, maintains and troubleshoots steam and condensate systems.
• Welds, solders, cuts, and heats as required.
• Assembles and disassembles metal and nonmetal pipe and related equipment.
• Performs minor plumbing work as allowed by regulations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
