Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking craftspeople to support piping and rigging tasks on our projects in Fort Worth, TX. You will read blueprints and P&ID drawings, select pipe types, cut, thread, weld, and install pipe systems, hangers, and valves, while following stringent safety standards.

Responsibilities include performing oxyfuel cutting, fabricating gaskets, and testing pipe installations in varied environments, with emphasis on teamwork and adherence to safety policies across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of craft related mathematics.
• Knowledge and use of safety standards and best safety practices relevant to rigging, inspection, and hardware.
• Identify, fabricate and install pipe hangers and supports; install valves and components.

Responsibilities

• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform cleanup duties and material handling.
• Identify, use, and care of hand and power tools.
• Review construction drawings, blueprints, and P&ID drawings for specifications.
• Fabricate and install pipe systems and fittings; install hangers and supports.
• Perform pipe welding, cutting, threading, and testing of pipe and tube installations.
