Fluor Corporation is seeking a skilled crafts professional to join our team for rigging, pipe fabrication, and installation work. You will follow safety rules, read blueprints, and perform pipe cutting, threading, and assembly in varied conditions.

The role involves handling tools, operating equipment, and coordinating with teams to install and test pipe systems. Strong safety awareness and physical endurance are essential for successful performance.

Qualifications

• Mental Demands: Understand and carry out oral instructions; Read and carry out written instructions to perform work tasks; Work at varying heights; Recognize, avoid, and report safety hazards; Assemble and disassemble objects; Operate equipment and power tools
• Physical Demands: See hazards, safety warnings, and barriers; Bend knees for lifting and routine work tasks; Stoop for work positioning and lifting to perform work tasks; Lift maximum 50 lbs without assistance; Ability to comprehend, and respond to audible/visual instructions, alarms and warnings; Climb/balance on ladders, scaffolding, and structures for work tasks; Kneel for work positioning and work task performance; Reach above shoulders and away from body to perform work tasks; Demonstrate manual dexterity to perform work tasks

Responsibilities

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Perform cleanup duties
• Perform material handling and storage duties
• Identify, use, and care of common hand and power tools
• Use and care of craft-specific tools and equipment
• Review construction drawings and P&ID drawings to determine work requirements
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, welding prep, and layout
• Fabricate and install pipe fittings, gaskets, hangers, and supports
• Install pipe systems and components, valves, and fixtures
• Test pipe and tube installations and ensure compliance
