Job description

Position Summary

Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts. Fabricate as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret blueprints, ISO’s, filed installations, material takeoffs, field sketches, and understand specifications.
2. Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe.
3. Miter and fabricate all types of pipe.
4. Install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports.
5. Steam and heat tracing.
6. Operate beveling machines.
7. Perform minor valve maintenance and repair.
8. Test piping systems.
9. Perform oxygen and acetylene cutting.
10. Perform basic rigging.
11. Operate pneumatic and electric tools.
12. Leak test tubing systems.
13. Additional responsibilities may be required as needed.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 4 years of experience in the industrial construction/maintenance industry.
2. Experience with fabricating and working with stainless steel and carbon steel pipes is required.

Physical Requirements

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.
