Job summary

Cianbro is seeking a skilled pipefitter to layout, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain mechanical piping systems for industrial processing and high‑pressure networks. You will follow working drawings and ISO drawings to ensure correct fit and function on site.

You should have at least three years of field experience, proficiency with oxy‑fuel cutting, plasma arc, threading equipment, and rigging. NCCER certification or state licensing is a plus; compensation ranges from $30 to $36 per

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience fitting various pipes in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with cutting torches, plasma arc, cutting machines, and rigid power threading equipment.
• Able to read isometric drawings and fabricate from field run piping drawings.
• Prior rigging experience is a plus.
• State licensing may be required depending upon the state.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain mechanical piping systems per drawings.

• Able to read isometric drawings and fabricate from field run piping drawings.
• Measure, fabricate, and fit up butt-weld, socket weld, and V-groove piping and hangers.
• Operate threading machines and rigging to position pipe.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain mechanical piping systems which include industrial processing systems, and high-pressure piping systems according to the working drawings.
• Cut and bevel pipe using oxy-fuel cutting torches, mechanical beveller's or a combination of power and hand tools.
• Must be proficient in making rolling offsets, fish mouths, laterals and consistently fabricating pipe to the correct dimension.
• Measure, fabricate, and fit up butt-weld, socket weld, "V" grove pipe, valves, hangers, and threaded piping systems.
• Operate threading machine equipment.
• Ability to use rigging to move and get the pipe in place.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Able to read isometric drawings of piping systems and draw ISO's of field run piping and fabricate from these drawings.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
