Job summary

Worley is seeking a Pipefitter Helper to support field crews on industrial construction projects in the United States. You will read blueprints, lay out and fit structural metal components, set up jigs and fixtures, and assist with positioning braces and supports as required.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in industrial construction/maintenance, physical stamina for demanding site work, and the ability to follow detailed specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products
• Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures
• Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
