Job summary

Sundt Inc. is seeking personnel for pipe fitting and fabrication work in an industrial/commercial construction setting.

The role requires the ability to follow plans, codes, and standards, and to work under supervision with a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities include maintaining crew relations, delivering high quality, safe output, and learning to improve methods while handling tools and safety hazards properly.

Qualifications

• Must have a one – two years’ experience in industrial/commercial construction and have a general understanding of the craft work being performed.
• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively always.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information is available for the work.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Effective math skills – add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices ask a supervisor before continuing.
