Job summary

Worley is seeking a capable helper to support the on-site crew in industrial construction and maintenance environments. The role focuses on reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, and aligning components for assembly and welding work.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial construction, with the physical ability to perform demanding tasks and to work safely on site as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products.
• Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures.
• Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece.
• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting.
