Job summary

The Walsh Group—Archer Western is seeking a Pipefitter Helper for the WEGA/WB Casey WWRF Biosolids project in Jonesboro, GA. This full-time position supports piping installations and material handling on a major water division project.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of verifiable experience with piping systems, can lift up to 50 lbs, and are committed to safety, teamwork, and learning on the job.

Qualifications

• 2a05 years of verifiable experience (preferred).
• Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; effective communication with co2dwokers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be required standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-6employment drug screening.

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, or other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage, and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment.
• Handles and moves materials and equipment used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters.
