Pipefitter-Gas Distribution - Building a Safer Tomorrow

Pay Range: $25-40/hr subject to Prevailing Wage

Do you have a passion for constructing safer communities and ensuring the reliable distribution of natural gas? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Pipefitter to join our team! As a Pipefitter, you will play a vital role in piping residential and commercial natural gas services, securing the flow from meter to existing fuel lines, and ensuring the safe operation of customer appliances.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently perform daily assigned tasks, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Operate in diverse environments, including public rights-of-way, private properties, commercial areas, and residential spaces, to ensure the uninterrupted flow of natural gas.
  • Demonstrate care for company equipment and materials, maintain cleanliness, and follow proper storage protocols.
  • Follow instructions and guidelines to promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Operate backhoes and other equipment as required.
Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of pipefitting experience in gas distribution projects.
  • Successful completion of Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 100 pounds and pass a physical assessment.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 60 miles from home to project sites; some weekend work may be required.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or Vocational training related to the field.
  • 2–4 years of experience working with natural gas.
  • Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Mechanical inclination for problem-solving and operational efficiency.
