Position Summary

The foreman must have the ability to direct employees; review and interpret drawings and specifications; instruct skilled mechanics to ensure work meets requirements; be familiar with the jobsite safety plan; enforce safe practices; conduct safety training; be familiar with assigned work and ensure all work meets or exceeds standards; prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required documentation; plan work; take responsibility and accountability for their crew; motivate employees; and support their immediate supervisor in any possible manner to perform their duties effectively.

Primary Responsibilities

3. Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, including location, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
