Position Summary

The foreman must have the ability to direct employees, review and interpret drawings and specifications, instruct skilled mechanics to ensure work meets requirements, and be familiar with the jobsite safety plan. They should enforce safe practices, conduct safety training, understand the work assigned to them, and ensure all work meets or exceeds standards. Additionally, they will prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required documentation. The foreman will plan work, take responsibility and accountability for their crew, motivate employees, and support their immediate supervisor in performing their duties effectively.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Direct employees and crew.
2. Take responsibility and accountability for their crew.
3. Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, including location, quantities, and sizes of materials required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the industrial construction/maintenance industry.
