Job summary

DRD Group is seeking experienced Pipefitters for an upcoming construction project at the Bellevue Gold Mine in Western Australia. The roles offer day and night shift pay rates with FIFO from Perth and PPE provided.

Start ASAP with a project duration through December and a new project to follow in the new year. Applicants should have a trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Pipefitting, a White Card, NPC within 3 months, and the ability to read piping drawings and isometrics.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Pipefitting or similar – Essential.
• White Card – Essential.
• Clean NPC - Within 3 months - Essential.
• Previous experience in piping installation and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and isometrics.
• Experience with pipe fabrication, assembly and installation.
• Ideally 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and laboratory drug and alcohol screen.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and piping isometrics.
• Measure, cut, shape and prepare piping components for installation.
• Assemble and install pipework, fittings, flanges and valves.
• Install pipe supports, brackets and associated infrastructure.
• Carry out pressure testing, hydrostatic testing and leak inspections.
• Assist with mechanical repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Work safely and efficiently as part of the construction team.
