Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced pipefitter in Texas to lay out, position, align and fit fabricated parts on industrial construction sites. You will read blueprints and specifications, fabricate and install diverse piping systems, valves and supporting structures.

The role requires solid hands-on skills with welding prep, rigging, testing of piping systems and safe operation of pneumatic and electric tools, supporting our low-carbon energy infrastructure projects and client priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and related specifications.
• Experience fabricating and installing various pipe materials.
• Proficient with welding prep, threading and testing of piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, ISO drawings, field installations, material takeoffs, and specifications.
• Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe.
• Miter and fabricate all pipe; install valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers and supports.
• Steam and heat tracing; use beveling machine.
• Basic plumbing repair; minor valve maintenance and repair.
• Test piping systems; leak test tubing systems.
• Oxygen and acetylene cutting; basic rigging; operation of pneumatic and electric tools.
