Job summary

Structured Trades in San Antonio, TX seeks a skilled HVAC piping technician responsible for cutting, measuring, and installing tubing and piping for commercial DX and VRF systems, using hand tools, brazing, and related tasks. You will review blueprints and ensure accurate installation.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience with direct expansion and VRF systems, reading drawings, and brazing copper lines.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC piping installation.
• Experience with direct expansion (DX) systems.
• Experience with variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience brazing copper lines.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC-related piping.
• Review blueprints to ensure correct installation.
• Utilize hand and power tools for installation.
• Inspect systems to verify proper installation.
• Work with mini-split systems as applicable.
• Perform other duties as needed.
