Job summary

hth companies, inc is seeking a Pipefitter to configure, install, fit, and maintain piping systems across the Midwest. You will cut, assemble and shape pipes using various tools and materials, ensuring smooth operation of installed systems.

The role requires reading blueprints, following work orders, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. You will document safety logs and coordinate with management for timely maintenance and installations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, installs, and maintains piping and plumbing systems.
• Consults blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions; creates working procedure based on specifications.
• Gathers equipment and materials for the job.
• Welds, cuts, bends, threads, solders, and fits pipes.
• Attaches pipes to walls using brackets, clamps; prepares holes prior to project.
• Installs pipe coverings; dispose of old coverings per EPA/OSHA rules.
• Inspects pipes, tests for pressure and leaks; resolves issues.
• Schedules machinery maintenance, repairs, and installation to minimize disruption.
• Complies with safety codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Maintains safety logs and inspection records.
