Job description

Pipefitter- Assembly Team Member- 1st shift

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Team Manager, the Assembly Team Member - Plumbing will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, while completing assemblies and subassemblies through the proper use of Manufacturing Assembly Instructions (MAI) and build plans. The Assembly Team Member – Plumbing will have the ability to perform basic plumbing tasks within the assigned units.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Complete assemblies and subassemblies, using the proper designated hand or power tools.
  • Install plumbing pipes, valves, and other related plumbing materials in the data center units.
  • Assemble components according to appropriate MAI or build plans.
  • Adhere to company Safety, Attendance, Quality, and Production standards.
  • Operate forklift as required.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team Lead or Team Manager.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of plumbing fittings and knowledge of how to thread pipe required.
  • Attention to detail, especially for penetrations through exterior walls.
  • Willingness to work both inside and outside, sometimes in adverse weather conditions, to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and write English required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred.
