Job summary

West Hill Staffing Group LLC is seeking a skilled pipefitter for a shipyard project in Pascagoula, MS. You will fit and install piping systems made from steel, copper and stainless steel, following drawings and blueprints, and using hand and power tools.

You will read layouts, align components, and work across multiple shifts to meet construction schedules, while upholding strict safety standards and teamwork in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on pipefitting experience in marine, industrial, or shipyard environments.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and system layouts.
• Skill in fitting and installing a variety of piping materials and components.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install piping systems made from materials such as steel, galvanized pipe, copper, copper nickel, and stainless steel.
• Install valves, fittings, and components following drawings, arrangements, and blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure proper fit, alignment, and installation.
• Work in a shipyard environment that may include heights, tight spaces, and changing weather conditions.
• Support production across multiple shifts as needed to meet ship construction schedules.
• Follow strong safety standards in every task and work area.

Must Have

• 3 yrs of marine, industrial or petro-chemical pipefitting experience

PAY

$52 per hour and $180 day per diem
