Paslin is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our machine shop and manufacturing team in Michigan. You will install pneumatic and hydraulic components for tooling, following engineering plans and customer requirements to ensure everything fits and works correctly.

This on-site role requires reading blueprints, using cranes, and collaborating with other teams. Expect typical schedules 6am–2:30pm, with potential overtime and occasional travel to Paslin locations.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic standards and tooling setup.
• 2+ years of experience in a machine tool shop.

Work type:

On-site at local Paslin locations. Not available for remote work.

Expected hours of work:

Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday.

Overtime:

This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.

Travel:

This position may require occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations.

Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand operated tools and machine controls. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.

Candidate Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, Associates degree, trade school or other certification preferred


• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic standards, tooling assembly & setup


• 2+ years of experience in a machine tool shop


• Able to read blueprints and set up equipment accordingly


• Able to use overhead crane
