Job Opening: Apprentice and Journeyman Pipefitters

We are currently hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Pipefitters for jobsites located in Pflugerville, Hutto, and Georgetown, TX. Please submit your resume to this posting and contact our office at 830-629-2525 for more information.

Pay:

$23-$34 DOE

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (possible overtime)

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of previous experience and OSHA 10 certification.

Journeyman Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Perform layout as directed by leadman, foreman, or supervisor.
• Assemble, install, and repair piping systems according to specifications and codes.
• Work with systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, and industrial processing.
• Test all systems for proper operation.
• Hold appropriate equipment certifications; 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and forklifts.

Apprentice Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Assist with layout, assembly, and installation of plumbing systems.
• Work with pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for various systems under supervision.
• Use various tools, materials, and equipment.
• 2-4 years of craft training or experience preferred.
• Be a team player.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Knowledge of safety codes and regulations.
